Don’t forget! The deadline for registration for the C†YA Spring Retreat: Finding God in All Things at the end of May is quickly approaching! If you are thinking about attending the retreat please sign up by Friday, May 15th.
Saturday, May 30 - Sunday, May 31 – Bellarmine Retreat Center (Waynesboro, PA)
If you’re in need of a relaxing weekend away from the city and a chance to grow in faith, then join us for “Finding God in All Things”. Young adults from all over the DMV will meet at St. Matthew’s on Saturday morning to travel to the retreat center in rural Pennsylvania. We will spend the weekend in a beautiful setting and there will be time for quiet personal prayer, small groups, hiking, mass, and making friends! The retreat will center around 3 talks given by young adults from the Cathedral. Talk topics will include “Finding God in the Pews”, “Finding God in Difficult Times”, and “Finding God in the Everyday”. Fr. Carter Griffin of the Archdiocese of Washington will also be joining us to hear confessions and say mass on Sunday morning. We will return to downtown DC in the early afternoon on Sunday. Transportation will be available!
More information regarding what to bring and a more exact time-frame will be sent next week to those who have registered! The total cost for the weekend will cover food, facility rental, and materials - scholarships are available to those with financial need.
Feel free to email Hannah (hanna...@gmail.com) or stmat...@gmail.com if you have any questions!
We look forward to seeing you!
