It’s officially Advent and just as the Church is starting another year, C†YA has some great events on tap for the next few weeks. Read on for some great opportunities for service, social events, and spiritual growth:
Christmas Party at the Northwest Pregnancy Center
Thursday, December 3 – 5 PM to 7 PM – Northwest Center (2702 Ontario Road NW / Columbia Heights)
The Northwest Pregnancy Center’s annual Christmas Party is this Thursday, and they could use a few more volunteers to help spread the Christmas spirit! Please consider giving a few hours of your time this week, contact Natalie (nat...@northwestcenter.net) for additional information or to sign up.
C†YA at the Catholic Charities Youth Transitional Program
Saturday, December 5 –10 AM to 12:30 PM – 801 East Men’s Shelter (2700 MLK Blvd. SE / Anacostia)
The Catholic Charities Youth Transitional Program is a residential rehab program for young men ages 18-24. Join us for a rewarding morning of fun activities and facilitated interaction designed to help the guys develop valuable social and professional skills. C†YA at the Northwest Center
Tuesday, December 8 – 6 to 8 PM – Northwest Center (2702 Ontario Road NW / Columbia Heights)
The Northwest Center provides support and comprehensive care that enables women to deliver and care for healthy babies. Join us for the final Happy Hour of 2015 at Madhatter! Feel free to bring friends or coworkers, or just come on your own to meet other young Catholics in DC at this joint happy hour with St. Thomas Apostle Young Adults and Holy Trinity Young Adults. Cathedral Young Adults Mission
The mission of the Cathedral young adult ministry is to support the community of Catholic adults in their 20’s and 30’s who live and work in DC in the continued growth of their faith, discernment of their vocations, and development as stewards of the Church through opportunities for socializing, community service and spiritual reflection.
