Hey all --
Summer might be coming to an end but there are still plenty of great events going on with the Cathedral Young Adults over the next few weeks. Read on to find out more!
We’re less than 30 days away from the Holy Father’s arrival to the United States! By now you’ve probably heard of or read about the #WalkWithFrancis initiative. We have an opportunity in the coming days to welcome Pope Francis by working to transform our community through prayer, service, and action.
Take the pledge at walkwithFrancis.org and then live it out by joining us for a work day with Catholic Charities and YTP or at any of our upcoming events!
Painting with the Catholic Charities Youth Transitional Program
Saturday, August 29 – 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM with lunch to follow – The Kennedy School (801 Buchanan Street NE)
The Catholic Charities Youth Transitional Program is a residential program for young men ages 18-24. We’re taking a break from our usual monthly professional skill-building activities. Instead, we’ll be joining the YTP guys to do some painting at another Catholic Charities building. You can take the Metro and/or buses to the school, but we will do our best to coordinate carpools from the Cathedral.
