All,
On August 14 another group of inmates will be graduating from our restorative justice program at the Ney Unit in Hondo. It would be really great for the student facilitators who worked with these men and for the inmates who have completed the program if we could have a large group of visitors attend the graduation ceremony. The ceremony will be from 6:30 pm until 9:00 pm on August 14. Carpooling will be provided. All those interested in attending must be placed on a visitors list by this Thursday. So, if you would like to attend, please email Kimberly Gibbs at kimberl...@sbcglobal.net with your full name and Texas Driver’s License number by this Wednesday so she can submit the info to TDCJ.
If you have not facilitated or attended on of our graduations this would be an excellent opportunity for you to see first hand the fruit of the labor of our work. The Bridges to Life program is incredibility transformative and those changes are evidences by the testimonies of the inmates at graduation. I hope you will join me at the celebration on the 14th.
