I will be facilitating the first ever application of the Restoring Peace program outside of a criminal justice setting. Currently the St. Mary’s School of Law Restorative Justice Initiative administers the Restoring Peace program in prisons, jails and reentry facilities. For the next 9-weeks the program will be offered to all those interested in experiencing a transformative circle first hand. I believe this will be an excellent opportunity for those who have not yet experienced the restorative process. The group will meet on Sunday mornings from 9:30 am until 10:45 am in Room 321 at Laurel Heights Methodist Church at the intersection of Woodlawn and Belknap in San Antonio, Texas. All materials will be provided. Participants need only come prepared to commit to participation in the full 9-week program. It is understood that some may need to miss a group meeting or two but in order for all to receive the full affect and education all are encouraged to be present as often as possible.
Please let me know if you plan to attend so I can make sure we have enough materials for everyone. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions.
Thank you,
Randy L.
