Last minute volunteer activity - this Saturday 9-1

Hello folks,

We have an exciting opportunity for a volunteer activity this Saturday.  

The Transitional Housing Corporation has acquired another building, and needs help with beginning the rehab process for 36 new apartments to help families facing homelessess get back on their feet.

THC is the DC area's largest Episcopal housing agency helping families with supportive housing, rapid-rehousing, and homeless prevention.  Last season we enjoyed helping to furnish an apartment for a wonderful lady and her two young sons.  No doubt that we will help to furnish another apartment in this new building, but first it needs some cleanup.

9:00am until 1:00pm

-5010 Southern Avenue, SE, DC, 20019 (corner of Benning Rd & Southern Ave, SE)

-Lunch will be provided

-We're running a van shuttle from the Benning Rd metro--let's us know if you need a ride.
