Come on up, down, or over to Ashkenaz and groove with your local time machine
tomorrow evening for the Ashkenaz Halloween Masquerade Bash 2006.
The Disciples of Markos will open the show at 8:30 with their raw,
uncooked, actually-still-pulsating rembetika, followed by the
spooky and sinuous strains of The Smyrna Time Machine at about 9:30.
And to put the evening out of it's misery, The Red Hot Chachkas' will
raise the dead and make 'em dance with a dose of their electrifying klezmer.
We're especially thrilled and chilled to have Mr. Hank Bradley from Seattle playing with
the Disciples and Smyrna Time Machine.
