thanks! -- we are focusing on the better business practices and
ongoing new fundraising sources needed to keep the museum out of debt
in the future.
It will be hard to convince the landlord that the Met is viable going
forward -- and hence worth saving -- if we don't sign more new
Exhibit or Corporate Sponsors very soon. So please encourage
companies you know to consider becoming a three-year Sponsor. If
that's not possible, a Business Pledge is always welcome; we just
received a nice one from antique clock masters Mitchell & Bosworth, Inc.
* PLEDGES = $45,691 (goal is $50,000)
* SPONSORS = 3, totaling $11,000 annually (goal is $25,000)
* BOARD MEMBERS = 15 (goal is 16)
* CASH = $1,119.05
