We still need more Corporate Sponsorships and new potential board
members to make the Met more healthy going forward, and more pledges
to meet the financial goal as well. The Derry Moms Club demonstrated
quick action and hard work in staging a Yard Sales for us yesterday,
and we're pleased to accept the $375.12 they raised.
* CASH = $690.05
Cash contributions like this help Save the Met by keeping us alive
during the campaign. Our expenses continue, but one of our regular
sources of income -- annual renewals of Met Memberships -- has been
on hold since the museum's future became shaky in mid-July. It's
great that we have over $7,000 in renewals just waiting for the
declaration that the Met is Saved, but meanwhile we need to keep the
lights on!
