Daily Goals Report, 8/23/07

We had a regular StM progress review meeting with the landlord's
representatives this evening. They seemed positively moved by the
community response and the campaign results so far. We were pleased
to demonstrate that their generous investment -- being patient with
the Met's deficient rent payments over the past year -- is now close
to paying off.

We anticipate good Save the Met news August 31st, but we're not quite
there yet: the shortfall in corporate sponsors in particular leaves a
hole in our future budget. We're grateful that one company responded
last night: Stepping Stoves School of East Derry made a three-year
Exhibit Sponsorship commitment of $500 each year.

* PLEDGES = $45,791 (goal is $50,000)
* SPONSORS = 4, totaling $11,500 annually (goal is $25,000)
* BOARD MEMBERS = 15 (goal is 16)

* CASH = $1,119.05
