There is a good article in the Eagle Tribune mentioning that we have
overcome one big challenge to the Met staying open:

Met could be saved; Landlord says children's museum
won't close Aug. 31, by Julie Huss and Courtney Paquette
http://www.eagletribune.com/punews/local_story_237115528

Yes, the landlord has decided that the success of the campaign so far
and our debt repayment plan serve as sufficient response to the
"Demand for Rent" they gave us in July. This means that the potential
loss of occupancy from this legal process is no longer a threat.

This is a huge step forward, but doesn't mean the Save the Met
campaign is over quite yet! We still need more Sponsorships to be
economically viable in the future, and we must reach the $50,000 goal
and then be successful turning those pledges into cash. The numbers
today:

* PLEDGES = $48,191 (goal is $50,000)
* SPONSORS = 4, totaling $11,500 annually (goal is $25,000)
* BOARD MEMBERS = 16 (goal is 16)

* CASH = $1,119.05

We have one more week to make a big push, and then we'll be
announcing the outcome of the Save the Met campaign this Friday the
31st. We fully expect to make it, but need your continuing help to do
so. Visit the website for ideas:
