We broke $45,000 in Save the Met pledges today, thanks mainly to a
generous commitment from the Rotary Club of Derry Village and
multiple Stepping Stones preschool families pledging against the
director's matching pledge challenge.

* PLEDGES = $45,366 (goal is $50,000)
* SPONSORS = 3, totaling $11,000 annually (goal is $25,000)
* BOARD MEMBERS = 11 (goal is 16)

* CASH = $1,119.05

Did you notice the comment from psychologist Suzanne Kuchel on our
website? She wrote "... I have always been impressed by the creative
and innovative ways in which the Met strives to help children develop
cognitively, socially, and emotionally." There aren't many downtown
visitor destinations in any community that also have such a positive
impact on the growth of their patrons. Read more on the Comments tab
