Texas Independence Day Celebration and Scholarship Fundraiser - Saturday 3/3 @ 7:00 pm - Diablito's Cantina

Fellow Longhorns, 

Please join us on Saturday March 3rd for our annual Texas Independence Day Celebration and Scholarship Fundraiser. 

This year's dinner will be held at Diablito's Cantina near the Saint Louis University campus (map). The restaurant will prepare a Tex-Mex themed menu and have drink specials for us. We will meet for dinner at 7pm and move out to the patio at 8pm to watch the Texas - Kansas basketball game and drink a few toasts to the great State of Texas. 

There will be door prizes, games and two big raffle prizes. We will also hold a silent auction for a football autographed by Texas head football coach Mack Brown and Co-Offensive Coordinator and former QB Major Applewhite.

Admission: $25 per person covers one free drink, appetizers (chips, salsa and guacamole), and two raffle tickets.

All proceeds go to the chapter scholarship fund, which awards a $1000 scholarship each year to a local area student enrolling at the University of Texas in the Fall.

2. Etched UT pint glasses + 6 pack UT coasters + 6 pack of Shiner Bock

Silent Auction Item (minimum bid):

Football autographed by Texas head football coach Mack Brown and Co-Offensive Coordinator and former QB Major Applewhite.
