Guys,

I am going on vacation gone T-Su to Minnesota campground for family reunion and I won't have internet access.

Can one of you follow up with Bill to see if he is doing the talk this month and then update the wiki and send out announcement?

Lee Lammert would also like to discuss how to extend a Rails plugin if we have some time (below)

Thanks! I'll see you Monday.

Jeff

Jeff,

Next Monday is the meeting, right? How about a 'class project'? I've been playing with redmine (http://www.redmine.org/), .. and there is a Timesheet 'module' (http://www.redmine.org/wiki/redmine/PluginTimesheet).

The module, however, integrates on a 'per project' basis, whereas I would like to see it as a selection on the Administration menu (in reality, it provides system-wide options, but having them under each project doesn't make sense, at least to me).

Would it be worth you or someone doing an overview of module integration & options? Perhaps showing us how to modify the plugin structure?

I talked to Bill today. He's still in Colorado, and won't be home
until at least the beginning of October. He said to schedule him for
the October meeting.

I've got something I can talk about (my table_for that works like
form_for, but creates a table for the index action, instead of a form
for the edit/new action) but it's pretty raw at the moment. If we've
got something else, I could use a few more months to get it into
better shape to present.

I'll see if Lee can run the "class project" he suggested.

Craig
