I'll ride either a Catrike 700 or a M5 high racer in S. St. Louis, doing laps around Francis Park, Forest Park, Wilmore, Carondelet Park, or Jefferson Barracks.  I just don't see other trike or recumbent bike riders.  It gets to be somewhat lonely.  My last ride was from my home near Delor and Eicrhelberger to Bike Center on Manchester and back, just to go somewhere.  It would be nice to see another recumbent cyclist, and possibly hook up for a ride some time.

Do you ever ride on the River Des Peres trail? Once in a while (every month or two?) my husband and I ride our Sun tandem from Maplewood down that way on a weekend, making use of the Christy Greenway and the new Carondelet Park spur to do a little loop at our turn-around point. I've seen other 'bents in Forest Park occasionally, but agree it's fairly rare. It seems like I spot a few more 'bents on Grant's Trail (though I don't get there very often).

About once a month I bike from Maplewood out to the Dierbergs near Bike Center for a non-bike-related Meetup.com event, but I generally ride an upright folder for shuttling back home in the car with my husband, who shows up a little later. That's usually how I combine biking and socializing: bike (solo or with hubs) to an event where I can hang out with people and socialize off the bike.

Hello Clayton and Joyce. I ride a older Terra Trike Zoomer or my Volae Expedition on the Katy trail in the Trelor to Augusta aeras (I live in Warrenton). Also the Monarch Chesterfield Levee Trail,  Creve Coeur Park Trail, and I recently tried the Madison County trail system. We should get a ride organized! That would be fun.
