 Hi Everybody,

Thanks for coming out to ride today. Connie and I went 5.6 miles and were not the first ones back to the car. We are turtle slow but it was a beautiful day.

I'll keep posting when I am going. We met a man with a new rambler who was excited to be riding.

It was fun!  I will keep my eye open for stuff happening more on the east side to cut the drive a bit.  And if anybody wants to see what cycling is like where there is so little traffic “you don’t need no stinking trails”, just let me know!

 

BTW – Bree and I had a great time….but the taillight fell off my bike on the drive back home.  I KNOW I tightened it!  I KNOW it!

Oh, bad luck about your taillight. I have been on the Madison County Trails which are nice. I don't ride on roads very often. If you arrange a ride, Connie and I might be able to come with our slow selves, but since it would be unknown territory, we would need a map or something so we didn't hold everyone up.

Thanks for organizing us, Marian!  It was great to see everyone, and it inspired us to take our longest ride yet on our new-to-us Sun tandem (29 miles with riding from home and back).

Hope we can get together for a ride again soon!
