If things go we.ll I will be riding with a buddy of mine on conventional bikes. (I plan to ride regardless, I just haven't heard whether he can go)  I rode it on a recumbent trike last year, and there were several other 'bents/trikes there.

There is a possibility we may do it, but chances are slim. It is usually very hot the day of the TDD and my wife and I neither ride well in the heat. We are early morning riders in the summer months. Prefer organized tours in the Spring and Fall. Of course if it is a tour in N. Wisconsin we have no problem doing it, since temps seldom get above 80 degrees even in August.

Fair enough it isn't for everyone. But Staunton does a huge ribfest that day that takes up the whole main street. Its almost as fun to show up to eat and hear the riders' stories!
