We are searching for a Software Engineer / Sr. JavaScript Developer -
SSJS
He or she will be a part of a team of software engineers responsible
for software and/or firmware engineering activity including design,
development, testing, maintenance, and internal documentation of
products for Linux and Microsoft Windows enterprise server platforms.

This is a full time (direct hire) opportunity here in St. Louis, MO.

As a part of a team, he or she will be responsible for central server
and software deployment/management systems. The selected individual
will write server apps written in JavaScript. This person will need to
be a JavaScript expert (this group writes server-side JavaScript which
helps to reduce latency), along with knowledge of PHP. Core competency
in JavaScript is very important, primarily in an Object-Oriented
environment. This group utilizes DOJO as a tool kit, so experience
with it is a plus. JavaScript to the level of understanding
inheritance models, prototypical and parasitic inheritance
specifically. Release cycles are followed for maintenance. This is a
Node.js environment. This role is not a Linux Server Admin, but
knowledge of it is a plus (Centos/RedHat 5.5 & 5.6).

This person will have the ability to help design and have direct input
into our customer's overall architecture, planning, and
implementation. The manager is very technical and will work with this
individual to discuss ideas and integrate value-ads into the product
line. The hope is that this person is very creative, has strong core
JavaScript skills, and will exercise their creativity to build
solutions. PHP skills will be utilized in this role, mostly in a
maintenance function. Understanding of MySQL is important. LAMP
knowledge is good as well as PHP. Self initiative and the ability to
acquire and go after new concepts is key. If someone is less skilled
in some of the areas, but has the ability to see and understand
quickly, they could be considered for this role as well.
