What better way to kick off your weekend than to head on down to south city for a hash through Wilmore Park and lovely surroundings? I tell you what is, by pre-lubing at a local fish fry featuring freshly caught River Des Peres lazy brown trout. 59 and I got a closer than desired look at some of these bad boys last summer, they looked delicious!
McWhiz told me to recommend the fish fry at St. Stephen’s, near the start of the hash. Here is the info: http://saintstephenstl.org/fish-fry/ Just be sure you pick up an extra jack salmon or hush puppy to share with the pack.

Take Hwy 55 South from downtown. Exit at Germania and go right. Just after Gravois, turn left into Wilmore Park. Stay right and look for the first parking lot with a gazebo with fish eating hashers.
