Agreed. An' I think the reason be because e'eryone be suspectin'
e'eryone else o' bein' a troll. There are few functional groups
anymore.

It started going south when the WWW started becoming popular. people
went from posting on usenet to posting on forums, and creating their own
web pages.

So ISPs started switching server space & resources from usenet to the
WWW. And thus usenet was left to die the same slow death as Archie &
gopher.

I'll do something about that. There's this sales tax increase on the
February ballot in St. Louis County. If it passes, it will also raise
the sales tax in the City of St. Louis.
