Position: Sr. Project Manager
Location: St. Louis, MO
Description:
*Provide on-site day-to-day direction and management activities for client, and project staff.
*Create project plan in MS Project.
*Monitor and oversee project scope, risks, communications, timelines, costs, and change requests.
*Manage projects from planning to support, interfacing with stakeholders on matters related to scope and effort.
*Provide project status reports describing the state of the project, progress and accomplishments, risks, and issues.
*Coordinate team activities, ensuring completion of the project on schedule and within budget constraints.
*Track and manage project issues and facilitate or escalate resolution as necessary.
*Assign and monitor project staff and provide task prioritizing and direction.
*Serve as the central point of identification and management of project risk.
*Evaluate project resources to ensure the efficient operation of the roles within the project.
*Define and adhere to project standards and compliance requirements.
*Facilitate team status meetings.
*Identify out of scope requests and manage a change control process.
*Identify opportunities for process and/or quality improvements and follow through with implementation and dissemination of improvements.
*Coordinate quality reviews and participate in approval of project deliverables.
Required knowledge and skills:
*Bachelor's Degree and MBA highly preferred.
*PMP certification highly preferred.
*Must have previous Big 4 or Management Consulting experience.
*Minimum of seven years of direct project management experience for Fortune 500 Companies.
*Proven ability to manage multiple projects concurrently that vary in size and scope.
*Well versed in project management methodologies such as: PMBOK, Six Sigma, Lean and Agile.
