Rapter Ridge is a winery in the Willamette Valley not far from Portland. Scott
Schull is the owner/winemaker, he's from Kirkwood. Excellent Pinot Noir & Pinot
Gris. I haven't been to the winery.
I have been to Chateau Ste. Michelle near Seattle. Not quite your
small-out-of-the-way winery, but the facilities are impressive.
Cheers,
Rich
Hello all,
Thanks!

King Estate near Eugene is one of my favorite's. Ed King made his
money manufacturing aircraft radios (King Radio). He sold his business to
Bendix, then moved from Kansas to Oregon & got into the wine business.
Beaux Freres is partly owned by Robert Parker. I'm curious how he rates his own
wines.
Penner Ash & Domaine Serene were also suggested by Rich at St. Louis Wine
Market.
Cheers,
-Rich
