Value wine recommendations. Bring a wine that is either:
Undervalued in your opinion of 25% or more. This would be a wine that you’ve had and would pay more than it costs. (ie $15, but you think it’s comparable to $25+ wines in the same region) Any price is fine, but the higher in cost the more is should be “undervalued”.
$10 or under that you’ve never had, but it was recommended by a wine shop employee, wine mag, etc.

*Because of the high alcohol content we’ll either have pizza or BBQ, so bring $5 to contribute or a dessert.

Merlot Madness
Merlot (at least 60%) from anywhere, $15-20

Not just for blending.
Single varietals that are usually blended such as Petit Verdot, Malbec, Grenache, Mouvedre, etc. $15-20

Sing it again, Sangiovese
Sangiovese from anywhere, $15-20

Celebrate!
Bubbly and Chard to celebrate the head wino’s birthday, $10-20.

Summer in SoCal
Red or White wines from California, south of Monterey. $10-20

A Lightly Foreign Concept.
Light bodied whites from outside the country, $10-20

Small batch wines
Red or white, less than 75 barrels produced, $15-20
