Caymus Wine and Food Tasting, Featuring Chuck Wagner (at Schnucks
Cooking School off Manchester)
Class Meeting Date: 10/23/11, 4:00 PM to 5:30 PM (****Cardinals game
is on at 7:05pm-they actually CHANGED THE TIME because of the cards
game and made it earlier!! AWESOME so Terry and I are going to this
one)
We are very excited to present this special One and One-half hour
class with Chuck Wagner, Caymus Vineyards Owner and Winemaker. Chuck
will be in-house from Napa Valley to introduce us to several of the
Wagner Family of Wine portfolio with Chuck telling stories of the
family and the wines.
In 2007, Chuck Wagner achieved the Wine Spectator Distinguished
Service Award, putting him in the company of luminaries such as Julia
Child and Robert Mondavi. Enjoy six Wagner wines including the award-
winning Caymus Special Selection Cabernet Sauvignon with special food
pairings from our Chef's Tasting Menu, specifically designed, prepared
and presented for this event. Seating is limited.
Chuck will then sign bottles in the wine department for an hour after
this event.

Class Description: Sit back while CSW Matt Wider, Schnucks Des Peres'
Wine Expert, educates and then we taste why Silver Oak Cellars has
earned such a large and devoted following. Brandied Figs Stuffed with
Goat Cheese, Moist and Juicy Dry Aged Strip Steak, Salt-Encrusted
Loaded Baked Potato, Broccoli with Hollandaise and Flourless Chocolate
Cake with Hand-Whipped Cream.
