Would folks be interested in hearing a talk on git in January?  Erik Jacobsen, who came to last month's meeting, has offered to dazzle us with the wonders of git.

I think git would be a great topic.

Maybe we should have bazaar and mercurial speakers too?

Bah, git is good enough for both Linus Torvalds and Randal Schwartz.
Who needs alternatives?

Great, consider him signed up for the January meeting.

I'd like to hear about different version control solutions in depth, too.  Rather than trying to cram them all into one night, does someone want to pick up the mantle for Mercurial?  Is someone brave enough to defend svn, or (gasp) cvs?  February will likely have a good turnout, as 70-degree days are rare that time of year.
