Responsibilities:

This Senior Systems Engineer will support the Marketing/Loyalty team.  The Senior Systems Engineer will be responsible for implementing and maintaining the configuration management processes. The qualified candidate will work closely with application release managers and development teams, facilitating the successful deployment of software releases to various environments by performing builds and deployments for mobile applications. The Senior Systems Engineer will focus on continual improvement of the activities surrounding the build tools and middleware configurations.

Qualifications:

Must be presently authorized to work in the U.S. without a requirement for work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, or related field preferred Strong background with one of the following version control tools: GitHub, Subversion, Rational ClearCase Proficiency with build tools including Maven, Ant, Gradle Extensive knowledge of the general mobile landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies Experience with iPhone/Android SDK and App Store distribution Proficient scripting skills with the following are required: Perl, Shell, Groovy Good knowledge of Linux and/or Unix OS Administration experience with the following middleware products is preferred: CQ5, Weblogic Server, and Tomcat Experience with JAVA and HTML5 programming language is preferred Experience deploying an application to one or more app stores (Apple, Android, etc.) is preferred Additional Skills and Competencies: Ability to work in a fast-paced, high demand and challenging environment Strong troubleshooting skills. Able to resolve issues and support configuration issues for developers independently Task management abilities. Able to identify necessary steps to a solution and move an initiative to the goals Requirements gathering abilities. Able to survey the department developers and management to identify challenges with current environment and formulate plans to address common needs Professional communication abilities. Able to formalize proposals, communicate the need and instruct others on the use of solutions Experience with Microsoft Office desktop application (Word, Excel, etc.) and Visio Support a flexible work schedule to support our SLA’s with our customers, and provide after hour and weekend support when needed
