before reading note that "google apps" and "google account" are two different animals apparently.
So
I moved my domain to google apps. One problem I've ran into is
apparently apps are seperate from google accounts. So I used to have a
google account with email of "
los...@liquidcode.org". This is the account my Adsense and a calendar are under. I also used
los...@liquidcode.org on my google apps main account when I set it up the other day. Now whenever I clicked the link at the bottom of here:
http://www.sluug.org/resources/calendar/
it would want to open my google account but complain that there is a
calendar with that address already. I then changed the email address on
my google account to
ads...@liquidcode.org but it still complains because the calendar is under
los...@liquidcode.org
and I can't JUST delete the calendar. I don't want to delete the whole
google account because my adsense is on this account and it doesn't
appear to be possible to move my adsense to my google apps account. At
least not without deleting and resigning up which would lose all
historical data.
Sooooo...I make sure to log out of my google account and click the
"+ Google Calendar" button on the sluug calendar and it takes me to a
login in page. I am logged into google apps and can see my calendar for
there but google doesn't give a shit about my apps account and wants me
to log into a google account.
I don't see anywhere on
http://www.sluug.org/resources/calendar/
that shows what email address that calendar is under and adding by
email address is the only way I can figure out how to get a calendar on
my google apps calendar account. So I'm stuck and can't get the sluug
calendar on my google apps calendar.
Confusing and frustrating.

I tried sending this message but got rejected. I had originally signed up to the mailing list with
los...@liquidcode.org apparently under my google account not my apps account. When I changed the google account to adsense I could no longer send from my apps account
los...@liquidcode.org. I changed adsense back to lostman...
Hopefully this makes it to the list.
Here is some info I just found between originally writing this and now:
