The ideal candidate will have a thorough technical and functional understanding of version 11i (11.5.10.x) of the Oracle E-Business Suite, with a particular focus of the following functional areas: Financials, HR, Projects, Order Management, Supply Chain and Warehouse Management. Experience with version R12 (12.1.x) of the product is also required along with experience migrating into R12 from earlier versions of the E-Business Suite.
Job Responsibilities
- Lead ERP Application Architecture as part of a larger IT architecture team
- Provide thought leadership across ERP-focused projects and efforts
- Formulate best-practice solutions and patterns to support needed business capabilities
- Develop and maintain documentation that defines architecture standards and practices
- Work across both functional and technical IT and non-IT business units to architect unified solutions and reduce solution duplication
- Co-develop and leverage Service Oriented Architecture patterns to deliver ERP solutions
- Provide leadership and cross-training to both peers and other colleagues in areas of expertise
- Be a thought leader and co-owner of the project to upgrade ERP to version R12
- Own the overall functional roadmap for the Oracle E-Business suite across all enterprise business functions
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in a Computer Science, Engineering or Management of Information Systems, or equivalent past technical job experience
- 8-12 years of experience working with Oracle E-Business Suite and Oracle Applications
- 3-5 years of experience filling technical leadership roles
- Strong knowledge of Financials, HR, Order Management, Supply Chain & Warehouse Management ERP modules
- Experience working with internationalization within the E-Business suite
- Proven skills in problem-solving and developing scalable enterprise technology strategies
- Past experience migrating enterprises onto version R12 of the E-Business Suite
- Working knowledge of application development methodologies, frameworks, and best practices
- Demonstrated ability to build consensus across & rally multi-disciplinary teams
- Excellent oral, written, presentation and interpersonal skills
