I think this is newsworthy.

Thursday at Canterbury, the Anglican Primates issued a statement
suspending the Episcopal Church for 3 years because of our "fundamental
departure from the faith" regarding LGBT rights. Our Presiding Bishop
Michael Curry has issued a statement in response expressing regret and
surprise and suggesting that ours was the position to which the church
