We're live with Google Apps

Hello everyone,

I have been playing around with Google apps in my Calc classroom for the past 2+ weeks.... and have LOVED the experience.

One BIG issue is that Google only allows for a certain amount of users to be created from one location in a small time frame. So, if you do as Delsie and I did and have your whole class sign up for accounts all at once in a lab, lots of them will almost certainly be locked out.

I solved that problem by setting up STJLabs.com with the Google Application package. What this mean is that we have all of the Google Applications streamlined through stjlabs.com. This means that a teacher can be setup with an admin account and create as many accounts as she/he needs. And that's just the beginning.
