St. Johnsbury Community Farm presents
FREE WORKSHOP with Grace Gershuny
SATURDAY--June 28--10-11am

 What is Soil Fertility?

Learn about the basic requirements for healthy soil, and a few simple ways you can evaluate your own soil.  We will use the Community Farm site to look at Indicator plants and soil texture and drainage.  We'll discuss some common problems and how to address them--bring your questions.

Bio: Grace Gershuny has studied, written, and taught about soil and composting for 40 years.  She is co-author of The Soul of Soil, published by Chelsea Green, and currently teaches on line for Green Mountain College and gardens at her home in Barnet.

Hope to see you on Saturday at the Community Farm, Old Center Rd.
