യെശയ്യാ 45

1. യഹോവ തന്റെ അഭിഷിക്തനായ കോരെശിനോടു ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു--അവന്നു ജാതികളെ കീഴടക്കി രാജാക്കന്മാരുടെ അരക്കച്ചകളെ അഴിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നും കതകുകൾ അവന്നു തുറന്നിരിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നും വാതിലുകൾ അടയാതിരിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നും ഞാൻ അവന്റെ വലങ്കൈ പിടിച്ചിരക്കുന്നു--:

Isaiah 45

1. Thus saith Jehovah to his anointed, to Cyrus, whose right hand I have holden, to subdue nations before him, and I will loose the loins of kings; to open the doors before him, and the gates shall not be shut:

2. ഞാൻ നിനക്കു മുമ്പായി ചെന്നു ദുർഘടങ്ങളെ നിരപ്പാക്കുകയും താമ്രവാതിലുകളെ തകർത്തു ഇരിമ്പോടാമ്പലുകളെ ഖണ്ഡിച്ചുകളകയും ചെയ്യും.

2. I will go before thee, and make the rough places smooth; I will break in pieces the doors of brass, and cut in sunder the bars of iron;
3. നിന്നെ പേർ ചൊല്ലിവിളിക്കുന്ന ഞാൻ യഹോവ, യിസ്രായേലിന്റെ ദൈവം തന്നേ എന്നു നീ അറിയേണ്ടതിന്നു ഞാൻ നിനക്കു ഇരുട്ടിലെ നിക്ഷേപങ്ങളെയും മറവിടങ്ങളിലെ ഗുപ്തനിധികളെയും

3. and I will give thee the treasures of darkness, and hidden riches of secret places, that thou mayest know that it is I, Jehovah, who call thee by thy name, even the God of Israel.
4. എന്റെ ദാസനായ യാക്കോബ് നിമിത്തവും എന്റെ വൃതനായ യിസ്രായേൽനിമിത്തവും ഞാൻ നിന്നെ പേർ ചൊല്ലി വിളിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു; നീ എന്നെ അറിയാതെ ഇരിക്കെ ഞാൻ നിന്നെ ഓമനപ്പേർ ചൊല്ലി വിളിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.

4. For Jacob my servant's sake, and Israel my chosen, I have called thee by thy name: I have surnamed thee, though thou hast not known me.
5. ഞാൻ യഹോവയാകുന്നു; മറ്റൊരുത്തനുമില്ല; ഞാനല്ലാതെ ഒരു ദൈവവുമില്ല; നീ എന്നെ അറിയാതെയിരിക്കെ ഞാൻ നിന്റെ അര മുറുക്കിയിരിക്കുന്നു.

5. I am Jehovah, and there is none else; besides me there is no God. I will gird thee, though thou hast not known me;
