Hi There!
Thank you Krista and Katie for coming to our first Stitch'n Bitch
meeting!! I had a really nice time chatting and working in my "felted
rocks".
I uploaded to the Files 2 patterns. One is the scarf/hat that I told
about (the proper name seems to be "Balaclava") and the other is a
pattern for hats that I love, but haven't give it a try yet. You are
welcome to upload your patterns too!! that way we can create a little
libraby of favorite patterns! ;)
ahh! and I created a page with pictures of my sister wearing the
balaclava i knitted for her while we were in Spain and a shawl that I
knitted for mom.
looking forward to the 2nd meeting-- that would be on the 28th of
July!

I'm excited about next time...Paulina, I'm going to Philly next
week...are
there good knitting/yarn stores I should try to hit while I'm there?
Also...I couldn't get the idea of buying a fabu brooch or bakelite
(sp?)
piece of jewelry from Katie's ebay shop for a project...I uploaded a
pattern
I've been wanting to try out that requires a cool pin/brooch of some
kind as
a closure:)

I had a great time as well!
Krista, if I ever knit well enough to do a sweater, I would surely
scan the store for the best of the estate jewelry (and rightfully bid
on it of course!)
I love love love the Balaclava Paulina, I am going to try it! What
kind of yarn did you use?
