I welcome anyone, and everyone interested in joining this group. As
one can see, this group is still in the development stages. I just
started teaching myself the art of crochet, and was very interested
when hearing about groups that get together to crochet and knit. I
figured not only may I meet people who can help myself along the
learning path, but the possibility of meeting lifelong friends, and
just the joy of monthly socialization would be wonderful!

However all the current groups are completely across town from
me...which is how this group has come to be developed.

Currently there is no meeting time-as I'm still waiting for others
(like you!) to join. Once others in the Northwest Las Vegas area join
this group we can poll on the best time for everyone.

As for the location, I'm currently in the process of contacting the
Rainbow Library to gather information about their public meeting room.
I've left a voicemail and am still waiting for a call back. Basically
I believe this is the best location for this division, as it is easily
accessible to all North and Northwest Las Vegas crocheters and
knitters. I'm just checking to see whether or not there would be a fee
involved.

Other than that, anybody who believes that location would be
convenient for a once a month meeting, please join. Also, any
suggestions you have I'm very interested in hearing them.
