Usingthe Link command, you can link multiple text blocks together and then editing text in these blocks will be treated as editing one paragraph. You can link text blocks not only in one page but also across pages. Text will reflow in these linked blocks and will not cover the page contents that are located among these blocks.

With the Join command, you can connect blocks of text into one single paragraph in a block to improve text reflow. Blocks of text may be joined together when you need to join text as one object. Otherwise, a block of text can be divided up into several parts with the Split command.

Foxit Quick PDF Library supports the merging of two or more PDF documents into one PDF document. The primary functions available for this task are MergeDocument, MergeFileList and MergeFileListFast. The function that you use for merging will depend on what your exact requirements are.

If you want to merge a list (two or more) of PDF files together then the MergeFileList function is what you need. This function Merges all the files in a named file list and saves the resulting merged document to the specified file.

Outlines (bookmarks), form fields and annotations from all the documents will be present in the merged document. The file list can be cleared using the ClearFileList function. Depending on the content and size of the documents that you are merging, the MergeFileListFast function can be used to obtain faster merging speeds.

If you want to merge two PDF files together then the MergeDocument function can be used. This function allows you to join one PDF document to another PDF document. During the merging process any form fields and annotations from the second document are preserved but outlines (bookmarks) are not.

So instead of stapling two sheets together, a more accurate comparison for the PDF merging process would be the recycling of paper where multiple different sheets of paper are broken down (and fibres are mixed) to create a new ream of paper.

Note: there are a few different terms which can be used when describing the task of merging PDF files together. For example, you could say combining PDF files together or appending one PDF file to another PDF file or joining PDF files together . All of these terms are essentially the same.

Foxit Web Collaboration Add-on focuses on helping developers easily integrate real-time document collaboration into their web applications which are built based on Foxit PDF SDK for Web. It mainly contains two modules, the client and the server.

Web Collab-Client: illustrates the collaboration client component, including installation, integration, how to create/begin/end/quit collaboration, how to get collaboration members, and how to get and update collaboration permission.

In simple mode, collaboration server runs on a single-instance basis, with only one collaboration server instance. The configuration is easy in this mode, you just need to configure UserService and Database.

In the current market, the token based authentication is used by most applications. Using the user authentication extension interfaces provided by Foxit Web Collaboration Add-on, you can easily integrate user authentication, such as OIDC, OAUTH2, etc.

Permission is a feature of the collaboration server that controls how users can do with the collaboration. The collaboration server provides two ways to control the permission: default permission check and custom permission check.

When a user is trying to join a collaboration, the default permission check is activated if there is no custom permission check in place. However, if a custom permission check is provided, the checkUserPermission function will be called to check if the user has permission to join. The parameters of checkUserPermission would be as follows: checkUserPermission(user, 'collaboration', 'join', collaborationId).

Web Collaboration Server uses relational databases for persistence.Database-related code is provided in a standalone package: @foxitsoftware/collab-db. You can get it from the zip release file or NPM.

The database logging configuration is provided by the log option. If not provided, the database logging is disabled. If you want to enable database logging, you can set a value that conforms to the LoggerOptions interface. For example, log: ['query', 'info', 'warn', 'error'] will output query, info, warn and error logs to stdout. You can refer to the API reference for more information.

Web Collaboration Server does not store PDF files, so applications need to implement PDF file storage service and share the files by URL. Make sure that PDFViewer can open the PDF file through the URL.

This config is optional.A default MessageQueue based on Redis is provided, and will be used if messageQueue is not provided in the cluster option. The Redis URL should be provided as an environment variable when starting the collaboration server, like REDIS_URL="redis://127.0.0.1:6379" .

MemberStateService is used to store and retrieve member states. The currently supported member states are online/offline. For more information, please refer to the API Reference of Foxit Web Collaboration Add-on.

In this guide, we will take the complete_webViewer demoFoxitPDFSDKforWeb/examples/UIExtension/complete_webViewer) of Foxit PDF SDK for Web as an example to show you the critical steps of the integration.

Assumed that you already have a simple collaboration server. If you need to integrate the collaboration server with your own infrastructure, please refer to Web Collaboration Server Guide.

I had to replace the hard drive on my laptop a few months ago, meaning a re-install of Firefox. PDFs used to open for me in Foxit Reader, which I really liked. Now everything opens in a black page and usually I have to do a lot of fiddling to get anything to print properly; with the Foxit Reader I never had these issues. Wondering if I can get it back.

This is something you can change from your options menu, in the upper right click the button with three horizontal lines and select options. From there make sure you are under the General category on the left and then scroll down to the applications section. In this section you can chose the default action for opening file types, click on portable document format (.pdf) and if foxit is installed on the computer you should have it listed here. Once you change that foxit should pop up for you again.

that was my first step. Foxit Reader isn't listed as an option, that's why I wondered where it was. I have never installed it myself; it just always seemed to be there. Searches of Firefox show no mention of it anywhere.

Foxit isn't a firefox software and install problem you should direct that to foxit support. Also could be a 32 bit to 64 bit firefox install that could also remove previous unverified addons from running on the new install.

The PDF software market is booming, with analyst forecasts projecting global revenue to surpass $10bn by 2024. This surge is being driven by the universal need for secure document sharing, editing, and digital signature capabilities across industries.

More businesses have been forced to digitize workflows and adopt hybrid or remote work models in the post-pandemic era, causing a rapid demand for PDF productivity tools. Many industries, including healthcare, legal, finance, and education are scrambling to modernise outdated paper-based processes.

When I joined Foxit as Director of EMEA Channel Sales in 2019, the company was already an established PDF technology leader, serving large enterprises and government agencies worldwide. However, its channel programme was still in its infancy.

Most critically, Foxit PDF Suite pricing beats Acrobat on every front. Our solutions deliver more features, higher performance, stronger security, and dramatically lower costs through simple, affordable subscription and perpetual license models.

Furthermore, we arm partners with an abundance of customisable assets including case studies, whitepapers, presentations, videos and more. Foxit will even draft targeted email cadences on their partners behalf. The goal is to make it effortless for resellers to effectively position and sell Foxit to their customer bases.

While most businesses have a relative straightforward requirement for PDF capabilities, large enterprises often have more intricate needs that create opportunities for channel partners to land and expand.

For instance, large enterprises may want to standardise on a single PDF solution across the entire organisation for document security, compliance, accessibility, and control purposes. Or the organisation may need PDF editing and annotation tools integrated into sophisticated document workflow systems.

Foxit continues to experience explosive worldwide growth, both in our reseller base and customer deployments. In recent months we have added channel distribution juggernauts Westcoast, QBSD and Prianto to our partner roster.

However, we still see a massive untapped opportunity, especially in the UK market. Many organisations remain unnecessarily weighed down by legacy Acrobat technology that fails to meet their evolving digital transformation needs.

The time is now to capitalise on this lucrative $10 billion global market opportunity through a vendor 100% committed to your success. Let us explore a partnership and accelerate our mutual growth in 2024 and beyond. Please feel free to email me to find out how Foxit can help your business grow.

Whenever I bump tab, the view seems to jump an arbitrary number of pages down. I can't figure out exactly what this behavior is, but as it's easy for foxit to register tab when you're alt-tabbing about, it's rather annoying. (I've tried to locate it in settings as well as google with no luck)

If your document has form fields or comments in it, Tab might be advancing to the next form field or comment. In both cases, the way "next" is defined might be causing your view to jump around (by default it's the order the fields/comments were added).
