Youcan still send updates to be added to this database via replies to this thread or dms to me, but I have outlined a few changes that were made to this version (and starting 9/14/21 all new pack weights discussions should be here, I will ask a mod to lock the old thread):

Edit: I opened up two FireRed/LeafGreen packs tonight, and 4 base set long stems. The first two were 17.55 and 17.56, of which the lighter one had the holo. Pulled a reverse rare Fearrow and holo Slowbro from pack one, and reverse diglett and non-holo hypno on pack 2. Of the base set, we opened 2 heavy (21.36 & 21.29) , and two medium weights (20.86 & 20.87). The heavy packs had a holo Ninetails, and a holo Hitmonchan, and the lighter packs had Electrode and Super energy removal. It was a blast, but I am now pretty certain where the light and heavy packs are from these particular long stems.

Non-English packs often have completely different wrappers and card layouts. For many WotC sets, for instance, each Japanese pack contains a holo. Another variable is the cardstock, which can differ from language to language.

I bought a cheap Unbroken Bonds blister pack, it was 2$ less than other ones presumably because it had shelf wear. That's what it looked like in the listing pictures, but once I opened it, it was clear it was searched and resealed. All the code cards, rares, and reverse holos were missing from each pack. Each pack only had 8 cards in it instead of 11 and was crimped closed with some kind of heating element. The blister pack was resealed with hot glue. Of course, I didn't notice until I already opened a pack.

What should I do? There is no way to prove the seller did this on purpose, it could be a retail return. I also can't prove that I wasn't the **bleep** who searched the packs. It is even likely I can get my money back?

I am a new seller on ebay and was really excited to make money selling, I am assuming if I leave negative feedback the seller will leave negative feedback on me? Is it worth it to take the feedback hit anyway to protect other people or should I just accept this as a loss and move on. It is less than 20$ I was scammed out of.

you can file an item not as described case, use the Resolution Center, below. The seller will be required to send you a return label, if he doesnt, Ebay will debit him for those funds. A seller cannot leave any feedback but positive for buyers. But you shouldnt be buying and selling on the same id..a seller can retaliate by buying one of your items and leave you a negative fb.

Sadly, I just got an Elite Trainer Box from Unbroken Bonds from another seller with the same searched problem, but this time I am not even going to open the packs. Hopefully this seller gives me a refund too. What are the odds!? The ETB was not even discounted...

In collectible card games, digital collectible card games and collectible miniature wargames, a booster pack is a sealed package of cards or figurines, designed to add to a player's collection. A box of multiple booster packs is referred to as a booster box.

In many games, there is a fixed distribution based on rarity, while others use truly random assortments. When the distribution is based on rarity, booster packs usually contain one or two rares, depending on the game, while the remainder are of lesser rarity.[4]

In the Magic: The Gathering expansions Legends, The Dark, Arabian Nights, Fallen Empires, and Antiquities, cards were sold in 8 card booster packs. In Limited Edition Alpha and Limited Edition Beta, as well as from Unlimited Edition onward, the cards were sold in 15 cards per booster: 11 commons, 1 rare, and 3 uncommons; Core Set boosters contain a basic land as one of the commons. Starting with the Alara block, booster packs for both Core Sets and expansions began to contain 1 land, 10 commons, 3 uncommons, either 1 rare (7/8 chance) or 1 mythic rare (1/8 chance), and either a tip card (which explains the new rules in the set, such as exalted in the Alara Block or Infect in the Scars of Mirrodin Block) or a token (which is of a type produced by a card in the set). Roughly one in every four booster packs contain a foil card, which can be of any rarity, including basic land.

HeroClix uses 5 figure boosters. A booster contains 2 or 3 commons, 1 or 2 uncommons, and 1 rare, but super-rare or chase figures may replace one of the other figures in the box (which is replaced varies based on the set). Prior to the Avengers set, HeroClix typically used 4 figure boosters with a much more complicated six-tier rarity scheme, with a few exceptions such as the Fantastic Forces set, which had three figures boosters because of the larger size of many of the pieces, and the 1 or 2 figure boosters formerly marketed at retail stores.

A starter deck (also known as an intro deck, battle box, and other terms) is a box of cards or figurines designed as an entry point into a CCG or collectible miniature game for beginners.[1][3] Starter decks are typically pre-constructed though they can also be random. Non-random cards may sometimes be referred to as "fixed" cards. Typically they are intended as a launching point, with an encouragement for further purchases to modify and improve these decks or sets.[1]

Starter decks may contain any number of items, including rulebooks, playmats, counters, dice, storage boxes, and common cards such as "basic land" in Magic: The Gathering, and other items. Some starter decks are meant for two players, so that a single set can be used instead of each player buying one separately.
