I absolutely love the retelling idea. I taught my students a cadence that I made up for retelling story elements. We haven't reviewed it in awhile and I was amazed that they still remembered it! Would you mind sharing your template for the rabbits? We are in the middle of a fraction unit and I would LOVE to do some engaging math before spring vacation! I think your theme on the storytelling rope is absolutely amazing!!! Super cute, I love it so much I am using for my lesson during my pre-student teaching and I am super excited! I love how you have the characters on the white backdrop on the poster so that you are able to reuse it. Is there any way you could email me those pictures against the white? My school would not love it so much if i had to waste a ton of yellow ink. If you could that would be FANTASTIC!!

The book reveals that Siobhan is in a coven and that she had one of the witches put a spell on Anna so that she could conceive. Siobhan really cares about her friend, and while a lot of the events in the story seem threatening, Siobhan is only trying to help. By the end of the book, it seems like Meg isn't a villain after all. Of course, Murphy may change things with Ivy in American Horror Story: Delicate, so viewers should continue keeping an eye on her.

The visit resulted in a Hands-On story that you can read here. But my favorite story is the Auction Report, not because of the hype but because I wasn't allowed to go to the sale! And, in addition, I remember how stressful the sale was because the owner of the watch suddenly passed away the day before the sale, adding even more stress to our our already frazzled nerves. I watched the auction via live stream (which was not the best quality) and saw "the man in the red tie" (aka Aurel Bacs) win the Supercomplication for a cool $24 million (take that, Paul Newman!).
The follow-up video with Daryn's interview was a huge hit in our office. And it was thrilling to see something I had worked on so closely on a site that frequented on the reg. I can't say with certainty that this was the story that inspired me to join the HODINKEE team six months later. But what I can say with certainty that I feel very fortunate to be a part of this team and company and to be part of this 10-year journey.
