Diveinto the realm of music production with Caustic 3, which transforms your device into an extensive electronic music studio reminiscent of classic rack-mount synthesizer setups. It's optimized for real-time performance on mobile devices and allows you to construct a custom sound array with up to 14 distinct machines, such as virtual analog synths, drum machines, a harmonious pad synth, and many others, offering a broad spectrum for sonic exploration.
Each instrument in the game brings a unique flavor to the music-making process, ranging from the classic 303-like BassLine to the innovative SawSynth, which delivers a polysynth experience. The powerful song sequencer and effects racks, supporting 20 effect types, allow for intricate compositions and sound sculpting, providing layers of depth and refinement to your tracks. There's a detailed mixer desk with global effects, a master section for final tweaks, and the ability to use MIDI controllers for an enhanced tactile experience.
Versatility is a key feature of the software, with support for users' WAV files, SoundFont, SFZ, and FL Studio mobile instrument formats for personalized sound creation. It comes with a built-in tutorial and comprehensive online manual, ensuring users can harness its full potential.
The demo version is a great way to experience the capabilities without a time limit, automatically saving your projects between sessions for continuity. Unlocking the full version grants additional features, including the ability to save songs and export your tracks in various formats.

Vlad is truly a magician. I binged all of his videos this past weekend hoping to find a solution. This was the closest but I specifically need it to look like water caustics. I thought Photoshop was an option but it needs to be done over a 360 render so that complicates things a little. The pano editing capability in Photoshop is super limited, especially with layers and blending modes.
At the end of the day, I was able to accomplish it in Photoshop using the warp tool to get the general effect. It would be great to have a projector light type in the future... add it to the list of a million Enscape wishes!
As far as I understand the NVRTX 5.3 Caustics is not out yet. There was a great webinar recently which mentioned that the Caustics update usually gets released a few weeks after the main 5.3 update. Someone can correct me, but I believe these are the latest NVRTX, and NVRTX Caustics branches:
Can you help me understand how to install? I have compiled from visual studio the 5.2 version from git hub but the RTXGI plugin is missing and when I try to paste it manually it shows either an incompatibility version of the engines either the need to recompile everything again. What is the missing link here?
Actually it would be Caustic 4
It's currently version 3.
But unfortunately, last I know, Rej, the dev suffered from serious burnout and wouldn't work with it anymore.
Not sure if he's up to something new
Yeah but it was probably a lot longer than a couple of years ago plus it sat, basically ready, for a good year before he bothered to release it. Rej seriously fell out of love with developing music software.
A real shame as Caustic is brilliant. I know that he did 'moan' about the pressure to make everything connectable in iOS land...
It does not work on 16.4.1(a), but I was not sure of that is because of my macOS security configurations :-D
So I also tested on 15.7.2 - and this also does not seem to work. The connection times out.
I mean the FTP server never shows an IP address in the screen where you start it. No error.
I did a lot of troubleshooting some time ago. It's not worth it to me to spend more time on. Good to know it's just my devices and it works for others. When I tried to get confirmation from others in another thread no-one responded.
Yes. Even resetting network settings, etc.
Far more trouble than it was worth, but I was curious.
Maybe I'll revisit it in another five years when I next get the urge to dust off Caustic.
Can we move on now? ?
Be careful if you scale your objects. If you inadvertently invert the scale , it can screw up the caustics even though the object face normal appear to be facing the correct way. If you are unsure - apply all transforms to your object - then check the external face normals are blue.
Why does this matter?
Whether oropharyngeal, GI, eye, or dermal, caustic injuries by alkali, acids, or other agents are commonly seen in the ED. Injury from alkaline detergent pods has been increasingly seen in children. We need to be expert in the approach and management of these patients. I learned a lot from reading this review article.
hi, for now, D5 does not have caustics function. It is already on our RoadMap. I saw some users use stage light to project Caustics images, to simulate the effect, especially on water surface. You can refer to this workaround.
Grazie.
Hi, this is caustic for water, made by our team. In the widget of the D5 pro version, open the projector function, replace the video with the saved water material, and adjust the parameters in the right sidebar to achieve the effect of caustic for water.

You meant that you want to hide the lighting effect while keeping only the caustic images?
It is hard to do that, you can try adjusting the Attenuation Radius and intensity lower, as well as increasing exposure.
If you want to simply hide the light source, Press L, or use Ctrl+H to hide the light object.
