When the King of the Assassins gives Celaena Sardothien a special assignment that will help fight slavery in the kingdom, she jumps at the chance to strike a blow against an evil practice. The mission is a dark and deadly affair which takes Celaena from the rooftops of the city to the bottom of the sewer-and she doesn't like what she finds there.

Celaena Sardothien intends to pay off Arobynn Hamel. She has already purchased an apartment. When she arrives at the Assassin's Keep, Arobynn is very apologetic. He showers her with gifts, including impressive and expensive new armor. He asks her to take on their new high profile client, a wealthy woman who wants her ex-husband assassinated. Celaena agrees and lets Sam Cortland help when he asks to.

At a party, a group of men show up wearing masquerade outfits. These men are clearly Dorian Havilliard and Chaol Westfall. Dorian and Celaena lock eyes from across the room and flirt for a while before Sam comes over.

1862, and with London in the grip of the Industrial Revolution, the world's first underground railway is under construction. When a body is discovered at the dig, it sparks the beginning of the latest deadly chapter in the centuries-old battle between the Assassins and Templars.

3- Boot was about to reveal his boss' identity when he was shot by an unidentified individual. The man also tried to shoot Ethan, however, the bullet killed an innocent girl bystander. Enraged, Ethan chased and assassinated the man, who was revealed to be Boot's boss and Templar associate Robert Waugh. Later, Ethan reported the incident to his friend George Westhouse. The pair formulated a plan involving The Ghost and the corpse of Waugh to uncover the Templar plans.

4- The chief engineer John Fowler recollected his memories regarding the construction of the first underground railway. Touring the construction with his friend and solicitor Charles Pearson and his wife, they discovered the body of Robert Waugh in one of the construction trenches.

5- The manager Marchant informed the director Cavanagh of the crime, and Police Constable Frederick Abberline was called to inspect the crime scene. Abberline discovered that the cause of death was a clean stab wound. Despite Mary Pearson's request to delay the construction due to the death, Charles and Cavanagh insisted to continue the work. However, The Ghost witnessed a look of recognition in Cavanagh as the latter gazed at the corpse. The Ghost signaled a drunk man after Abberline left with the corpse.

6- Reaching Belle Isle, Abberline tried to avoid the curious street children and eventually reached the mortuary yard. However, he discovered that Waugh's body had been replaced by a dead pony's corpse.

7- The Ghost returned home, passing by Marylebone Church to check messages. Sure enough, he learned that his handler wanted to see him. He returned to the Thames Tunnel and met with his friends Charlie, Jake and Maggie.

10- Ethan revealed to Arbaaz that Jayadeep had a weakness with violence and that he could never be an Assassin. Angered, Arbaaz told Jayadeep to prove Ethan wrong, despite Pyara Kaur's pleas. Jayadeep, desperate to please his father, agreed.

14- Ethan immediately went to The Darkness to interrogate Jayadeep who told him that he hesitated to assassinate the Templar Tjinder Dani and had awoken him in the process. Arbaaz was forced to interfere and kill the target and the oncoming guards due to his failure.

16- Jayadeep once again recalled his first meeting with Maggie. Maggie had saved him from one of her attackers because he hesitated once again to kill. He then invited her to stay in the Thames Tunnel.

22- The Ghost read about Cavanagh's return from Jalalabad and his rise through the Templar ranks. Ethan and The Ghost finished their conversation and Ethan read The Ghost into the current state of London's affairs.

65- The Ghost is visited by his parents in London. While his father remains distant, The Ghost, now Jayadeep again for a time, talks with his mother and regains his confidence. At the end of the visit, he is ready to operate in London as Henry Green.

82- Jacob defeats Starrick's snipers, but Starrick steals the key from Evie. As Starrick flees, Evie dons her Assassin regalia and chases Starrick through the palace. Starrick is found wearing the shroud.

Scud: The Disposable Assassin (published from 1994 to 1998, and 2008) is a humorous, hyperkinetic science fiction comic by Rob Schrab about a world in which one can buy robot assassins out of vending machines, the most popular of which are intelligent robots that kill a specified target and then self-destruct.

The protagonist of the series is Scud, an average Heart Breaker Series 1373 model assassin. On his first mission, he is sent to kill Jeff, a rampaging female mutant with mousetraps for hands, an electrical plug for a head, and a squid strapped to her torso with a belt.

In this future, it is possible to obtain robot assassins out of vending machines at the cost of 3 Franks. After terminating their target, the robot self-destructs for easy clean-up. During his first mission, the Scud we follow sees his self-destruct warning in a mirror during an 18-page fight scene. Programmed for self-preservation for the sake of winning fights, Scud doesn't want to die, so only wounds Jeff bad enough to be put on life support at a nearby hospital, ensuring their mutual survival.[1]

With issue #20, the series went on indefinite hiatus with a cliffhanger. Schrab was growing dissatisfied with the direction the story was taking, and stepped back from the book rather than allowing things to worsen.[2] At the same time his career in Hollywood began to pick up, so he shifted focus further away from the book. Since then Scud's publisher, Fireman Press, was dissolved after a falling out between Rob Schrab and a business partner over rights.[3]

In a closing interview conducted by Doug TenNapel at the end of Issue #24, Rob stated that he would like to see La Cosa Nostroid concluded, but that it would be up to Dan Harmon who helmed the series.

A 6" Scud action figure was announced in 2006 as a part of Shocker Toys' Indie Spotlight line.[6][7] The addition of the figure to the toy line was cited by Schrab as one of his motivations for wanting to finish issue #21 in his first video blog.[8] The figure (with a variant Sol robot) was eventually released in 2009.[9]

There have been two attempts to adapt Scud into a film and TV show. A live-action feature film was optioned by producer Oliver Stone,[10] but the option lapsed in the early 2000s.[11] The second attempt was to adapt Scud into a TV series for MTV. It got as far as casting before being cancelled in 2004.[12]

A copy of Scud: The Disposable Assassin #1 appears in the "Advanced Dungeons & Dragons" episode of the American television comedy series Community, created by series writer Dan Harmon.[13] Scud himself was additionally seen in the background of the courtroom scene in "G.I. Jeff", an episode of Community that was based on G.I. Joe that was directed by Schrab.

The second episode of The Real Animated Adventures of Doc and Mharti, a short series developed by Justin Roiland which served as the prototype that inspired Rick and Morty, features Scud the Disposable Assassin and depicts an animated copy of Scud: The Disposable Assassin #1. The episode also references Rob Schrab's hiatus between Issue #20 and the four-issue series finale.

My name is Renara Hawke, and I am looking for enthusiastic and passionate people to help me with a voice-acting project over on YouTube. I'm producing an Audiodrama of the award-winning Throne of Glass series, to not only brining it to a wider audience but also to make these stories more accessible for those who may not be able to afford premium services.

I am starting with The Assassin's Blade. This is the Prequel to the Throne of Glass and is a collection of Novellas.
Now because of the nature of this project, I will be auditioning on a Novella by Novella basis, and then later on with the bigger books, Chapter by Chapter basis, so there will be more roles available in the future.

I have already completed the first two Novella's: The Assassin and the Pirate Lord (Original), and The Assassin and the Healer, and we are actively working on The Assassin and the Desert, all of which you can check out at the link below:

. If cast the turnaround time for lines-in will be very quick (1 week) and you will need to be contactable for retakes, additional foley and sound effects as each chapter is released, please make sure you are aware and can commit to this long-term.

2.) No background noise, peaking or artifacts! All audio must be clear and understandable.

3.) If you are given a returning character (RC), this means you will be asked to come back for later parts of the project, this may be weeks, months, or years apart depending on how this project develops.

Please make sure you understand this when you are auditioning, and that you will be just as enthusiastic as you were when you first joined.

4.) You MUST have Discord, if you are successful in your audition I will be adding you to the project server where finer details about the project and characters will be discussed.
If you would like to join the discord ahead of time, here is the link ^^:

5.) To ensure trust and security upfront, each VA will have individual agreements, with myself, signed to safeguard their voice against being used for AI and Ai voice training. Together we can fight against Ai erasing VA as a career!

Dorian is the crown prince of Rifthold and heir to the throne, an older brother and a shrood diplomate. Currently at this point in the story, he is a gentle and free-spirited individual with a vein heartbreaker streek. He is something of a flirt, but is very compassionate and bright, of which shines through very clearly. He is extremely intelligent and values that in others as well as those he can trust and those with free spirits. He hates the life of the court and craves excitement, which is where he meets our resident assassin.
