1On the Robot Homepage, tap Settings in the upper right corner and check the current firmware version of the robot.
2. When Auto Update is switched on, the robot will automatically update to a new available firmware version. If the Auto Update is switched off, you can tap the Check for Update button to see if there is a new firmware version and trigger the update manually.
Note: You should turn on and charge the robot in the base station to perform a firmware update.
1. If your house has more than one floor and you want to move the robot to clean other floors, you need to create a new map through Map Management > Multiple Maps before first-time cleaning. Up to four maps can be created in the App.
2. You can move the robot to other floors and create a map without the base station, and the Freo Mode is not available on this map. During a mopping task, the robot could not return to the base station for mop washing either;
3. You can move both the robot and the base station to a new floor and create a map with the base station. There are no limits when the robot is cleaning on this map. But you need to move the base station to the floor too when performing a cleaning task every time.
Note: Before the robot executes a cleaning task on other maps, you need to manually switch to the corresponding map.
You cannot lift the robot up during mapping for it will influence the mapping results.
When performing a cleaning task, the robot needs to position itself on the map. If it is lifted up and carried to a zone not on the map, the robot will fail to position itself, and the cleaning could not be continued.
The robot can identify rugs during a cleaning task. If you do not want the robot to clean a rug, you can select to skip rug through View > Map Management > Edit Rug, and the robot will avoid the rug during cleaning.
After the cleaning task is completed, the robot will return to the base station for charging on its own. After a certain period of time, the robot will enter into the low-power mode and the base station will turn off its screen;
The base station will only be turned off when the power cord is disconnected. If you want to turn off the base station, please unplug the power cord of the base station.
When the power cord is disconnected, the robot will not be able to charge and it will be turned off when the battery runs out. Please connect the power cord to the base station and charge the robot before the next cleaning task.
Note: If the product is not used for a long period of time, turn off the robot and base station when fully charged and recharge them at least once every three months to avoid over-discharging the batteries.
I love the vacuum so far its doing an excellent job. I had issues with getting it setup and connected to Bluetooth and internet but was able to resolve it by changing the settings on my router. I do think the app can use some improvements for marking no go places and mapping carpet.
I spent several weeks searching and reading numerous reviews before selecting this machine. I really like this vacuum cleaner; its sensors are very sensitive and it can reach most places including edges along the walls. It does an excellent job vacuuming our thick, shaggy carpet, and it also effectively vacuums and mops our imitation wood floors
The Eureka E10s is fairly affordable in the face of other robot mop-vacs; our recommendation for an affordable option is $800, while the E10s is $600. You might think to yourself, why buy a more expensive model then? Why spend more if I don't have to?
It's not a bad vacuum. If you can find it on sale and mostly want it for carpet cleaning, you'll likely be satisfied. I was plenty happy with how it vacuumed my carpet. But the mopping and built-in smarts left something to be desired.
The difference is in the mopping job. Most robot vacuum-mops today have rotating scrubbers or refillable water tanks or self-cleaning tools. Not the E10s, which has the same system as robot mops of yore where you pour water into a canteen in the vacuum that's above the single mop pad. Then the vacuum drags the lightly damp pad around your house to mop your home.
It claims it can rise up, but it was such a minimal rise that the damp mop pad dragged on my rug. It didn't feel soaking wet, but my husband said he could tell it was a little damp. My linoleum floor didn't feel freshly mopped after the damp mop pad swiped over it, either.
The little robot also struggled with floor transitions. The spot where my kitchen linoleum turns into the dining room carpet is my least favorite feature in my current apartment. It's now full of cat food and dried rice that the vacuum pushed there instead of cleaning up. It also got stuck five times in a row on the edge of my rug and carpet where there was an awkward space before the bookshelf began. I finally blocked it off with my toddler's chair.
But even when I leave the base in the same spot, the vacuum forgets my maps over and over again. The E10s also gets upset if I ever dare to move it, which is silly, since I have to clean hair off the brush, put water in the tank, and sometimes help it when it gets itself stuck or lost in my house.
You can save maps in the app, but I often forget, don't resave, and end up paying the price. Since I can't casually remap, it feels like a waste to reclean just to try to get a new map for the next round.
It got stuck more often than seems normal. Some of it was user error, when I forget to clear up some cords, but other times the E10s would be on a mission to clean a spot and get itself stuck in the process. Usually on a transition of some kind, almost always my rug.
Even when it wasn't stuck, it bumped around my home like a blind pet looking for its food bowl, or a moth trying to reach a lightbulb encased in glass. It was kind of cute to watch it try and get between the spokes of my husband's office chair, but annoying to get a notification during every single cleaning that the robot was stuck again, somewhere in my house.
I was relieved to find the Find My Robot feature in the app, so that the E10s would make a noise and help me find it when I would get a notification that the robot was stuck yet again. I knew its trouble spots, but it was easier to find it with the sound alerts.
I have mostly carpet, which I think is what made me still mostly like this vacuum, since it could quietly vacuum my whole home to a pretty satisfying level. I also liked the bagless empty bin, which has a Dyson-like design to it, and the small form factor of the base. But if I bought it because I was expecting to mop, I'd be sorely disappointed. And if I'm not buying it for the mopping, I should have just gotten a cheaper vac-only robot.
I've owned my fair share of robot vacuums, but the Dreame L10s Ultra has completely blown them all out of the water. My floors have never been cleaner! It's like having a personal cleaning crew working tirelessly to keep my home spotless.
The L10s Ultra's suction is incredibly powerful, picking up everything from pet hair to fine dust with ease. It effortlessly transitions between carpets and hard floors, adjusting its cleaning power accordingly.
This robot vacuum is incredibly intelligent. It quickly maps out my home and creates efficient cleaning paths, ensuring that every inch of my floors is covered. The app allows me to customize cleaning zones and schedules, making it even more convenient.
The self-emptying base is a game-changer. It empties the robot's dustbin, so I don't have to worry about it for weeks. Plus, the mop pads are automatically washed and dried, ensuring they're always fresh and ready for the next cleaning session.
The mopping function is equally impressive. It leaves my hard floors sparkling clean and even tackles sticky messes. The ability to lift the mop pads when transitioning to carpets is a brilliant feature.
The Dreame L10s Ultra has exceeded all my expectations. It's a true cleaning powerhouse that has made my life so much easier. If you're looking for the best robot vacuum on the market, look no further. It's worth every penny!
The Dreame L10S Ultra so far meets our expectations for keeping our floors clean with minimal intervention. We have a difficult house to clean and it performs well despite the challenges. We are getting spaces cleaned that we never touched before. There are some minor esoteric issues that we have, like with any newer tech devices, but I hope there will be updates for those in the future.
I have 2 units. Both stops after only 20 minutes vacuuming and disconnects from wifi. Units are under 2 years old.
Occasionally looses the map. Rapid battery discharge.Stops in the middle of vacuuming.
Replacing the battery fixes the problem. BYD batteries of poor quality. Will avoid Roidmi products in the near future when upgrading.
Problems occur after the 1yr warranty expires!
Company not taking ownership.
After 2 years and 1 month, the charging station simply stopped working. During the 2 years, there were problems with maps saving, changing the WiFi provider, also the parts of the main set that fit into the socket and the rubber on the cover wore out a lot. After 1 year started to losing charging station.
The Vacuumcleaner isn't that Bad. But there are Always Problems with loss of the map or it has to find the Station 10 Times in the row... Sometimes it jszt Sto before the Station and wont load... Wouldnt buy again
This robot can not connect via Mi Home application. I brought it to the service center and they also were not able to fix it. But refused to replase the robot with a propper device, because "Mi Home" it is "an option". Why? It was the main reason of buying this robot, because via Mi Home I can connect it to my smart home via Alice. Roidmi application does not support Alice. How can I return this robot?
The ro bot if fine build quality, but the updates and the software is TERRIBLE! robot is always can't find a charge station, after 4long cleaning (but it sees it on the map), always scratching right side the robot.. even if he knows theres is an obstacle. very disappointed. BAD BAD SOFTWARE! no UPDATES!
