Over the last week or two I have tried to get in touch with QB using the Contact Us feature under Help with QB Desktop. I have requested a call back and waited and waited. I have waited ALL day. Today I have tried twice and not gotten any response. When I choose to chat, the person doesn't know how to answer my problems and tells me to request a call back. I have had them to quit responding all together.
My question has been resolved. I was finally able to get a call back from QB Desktop. I have to manually type in the description for shipping. POS gives me the item code but this is not seen on the printed or emailed invoice.
Before we can accomplish your goal for today, may I ask for more details about your initial post? Talking about callback, I'm assuming you need help with your intuit account maintenance, or is it something else?
Hi, I want to add the description of "shipping" to the QB Desktop invoice that is generated from QB POS. At this point it only puts the shipping amount with no description. This is confusing to the customer.
Ideally, the sales information will be transferred to QuickBooks Desktop when you do the Financial Exchange. In QuickBooks Point of Sale, you'll want to make sure that the customer is set up correctly. From the customer's profile, add all the necessary details including the shipping info.
With regards to the callback request, please consider the support hours. QuickBooks Desktop Point of Sale Support Team is available Mondays to Fridays from 6 AM to 6 PM PT. You'll want to send another request within those hours.
I'm hear what you're saying about your experience. As a new customer, it's important that you get the support you need. To ensure that your onboarding process is properly taken care of, I'm going to have to let you contact our QBO Support team again. This way, they can check the status of your callback requests, and to know if there we're callback attempts. They can also guide you a new schedule.

In the Geant4.jl project I am wrapping a large C++ library that supports multi-threading for tracking particles through matter. I have found an almost working solution by disabling the GC, but if the run is very long, I do run out of memory. I am looking for a way to trigger the GC at given defined checkpoints.
Probably better is to manage the GC state transition per thread more precisely. E.g. transition from unsafe->safe when your are executing just C++ code ans transition back from safe->unsafe when you are calling Julia functions or returning to Julia.
Yeah Ideally you need to store the state in between. Since you could be GC unsafe, the enter an inner region that also marks itself as GC unsafe and then exit the inner one, and after that you still want to be GC unsafe.
Thanks very much.
I do not see the functions in Base.GC, are they hidden?
I see that only case I need to call them is when I put the foreign thread to wait. In this case I have to ensure that is in the safe state otherwise it will deadlock if a GC happens.
You don't touch the Missed Call Notification. That will automatically return the call. If you wish to just look at the missed call, open the phone and look at the Recents list. Making the return call is expected behavior when you tap on that notification. Or, you can wait until you get a voicemail notification, if they left one, and that will take you to the voicemail instead of returning the call.
That is true, you did not explain it correctly. If you are getting an automatic callback when pressing the AssistiveTouch button that is a different story. That appears to be an issue with that Accessibility Setting. I would review the settings for AssistiveTouch, or get your Home Button repaired if that is why you are using AssistiveTouch.
Today, I got my first spirit petal and used it on the Wind Shrine (yes, I used it on the wind shrine and not wand) and I donated vials to the shrine. What are the average vials or chance of windy bee calling back?
I'm kinda unsure about wind favor because I don't really care about that, but basically how I think it works is that the higher favor you have, the more chance you'll get windy bee. Basically why people recommend donating petal 2nd (or 3rd, doesn't happen too often though unless they bought windy bee with robux). Once you're around the stage of donating the 2nd/3rd petal you have a larger donation history which basically results in higher favor and less pain from donating a lot of cloud vials
If you ever make the mistake of donating it first, all I can say is good luck ig. Donate gold eggs or purple potions (or cloud vials) often especially during boosts, it can help buff the favor up. Also try to do wild windy as much as you can for a high amount of cloud vials. Another reason why donating petal first may not be the best is because there's still another 10 quests to suffer through before getting your next petal. May not be something too bad, but can take up more time
I have been playing since April 2018, so I managed to get tons of resources by the time the September 2019 update rolled around. In fact, I had enough to get Petal Belt with my first petal. But I really wanted to get a First Edition Windy Bee without buying the Robux Pack. I finished Sway Away on October 3 2019 I believe, and I got Windy Bee while doing Quest 19, The Glory of Goo on October 17 2019. I have a feeling it only took 250-300 vials. And then a few days later I got Petal Belt because I felt Wand was overrated, and like before, I could get Belt immediately. Then I finished Spring Out of the Mountain on November 22 2019 and got my Petal Wand, less than 2 months after being added. I don't regret anything.
This is a bit wordier and more informal than some other suggestions, but I tried to go with what I think I would actually say on the phone, not necessarily what was the most concise/formal. If you want to remember the clearest, simplest response (above is just me winging it, I don't have a plan of what exactly I'm going to say before I call back) then I'd go with this:
Note that I still introduce myself; I think this is very important. They can't possibly answer your question ("What did you call me about?") until you've provided this information; they have to know who you are to know why they called!
The meaning of this phrase is obvious (mostly, but see below) so you will not be misunderstood if you use it in America. However, telephone greetings are highly conventionalized, and the phrases I mentioned above are conventional expressions we use for the case you described. If "I got a missed call from this number" is conventional, it's conventional in an community that I'm not familiar with.
Obviously there's a lot of room for error in that these two phrases can not fill the same grammatical function, and books are not the best place to look for phrases that are mainly used in telephone conversations. Maybe someone with better Ngram-foo can come along and give an improved comparison.
Also, according to Wikipedia, the term "missed call" is used specifically for cases where the caller deliberately hangs up before the call is answered to convey a simple message without being charged. I don't believe this usage is common in America either. But if you are in a place where this usage is common, you might not want to use the phrase when calling a potential employer because it implies stinginess on their part.
Giving our name to the unknown person/number before they ask (such as Hey, this is Jack! I saw missed call from you. What was the matter?) is not proper as you may first want to know who called you than reveal your identity.
This is the second time I have not received a call back for my scheduled appointment. My confirmation email states they will call back in 5 minutes should there be any problems. both times I have been disconnected on Intuit's side.
The TurboTax Live scheduled calls are placed by the system, and if there's no answer our experts will leave a voicemail message. If you would still like to get a live review after a missed call, please schedule another appointment.
I have paid for service - payment was processed Monday, March 6th. I have been trying to schedule an appointment. I work and have been waiting for a call back since Thursday - please can someone call and schedule an appointment with me. Home number is [phone number removed] or Text [phone number removed] - I need to get my taxes done as soon as possible. If I do not receive a call back by 17:00 Sunday, March 12th - I will dispute the charge and take my business elsewhere. I am a returning customer this would be my 3rd year.
for the past week and a half I have received a few callbacks from people I do not know, I have not called them.... I also get random missed calls, and when I call back, the person states he/she has never called my number.... any one experiencing something similar?
