I want to use WoaS as a helpfile for my spreadsheet application.
Is it possible to jump via a link to a dedicated page inside WoaS?
(not just to the standard starting page when I open it)
Thanks for your hints in advance!
Best Regards
george

If the file you are trying to access is for instance: C:\Documents and
Settings\All Users\Desktop\woas.htm
and you try to open the page History, then you link to it as C:
\Documents and Settings\All Users\Desktop\woas.htm?History
i.e. add a ? after the file path and then the page title.
However to my knowledge it is bugged.
1) It fails to display the correct title of the page, it just displays
as Main Page.
both work ok in firefox on windows xp,
and in internet explorer7 on windows xp,
hurray thats wonderful..
(using stickwiki94b)
but as siredumnd writes
the browser tab title doesnt update,
hopefully in the next update it will,
and hopefully the browser tab tile will give the webpage title
and the page within the stickwiki's title,
perhaps as wikitest.htm?test2

whats it look like?
WIN XP, Office 2007, firefox 2.0.0.9, stickwiki94b
files:
D:\test\wiki.htm
D:\test\sheet.xls
Link from cell in excel via insert-link -> [[file:///D:/test/wiki.htm?
Page1]] according georges hint.
also tried: file:///D:/test/wiki.htm?Page1 (without brackets)
nothing works
only exeption inside firefox address bar: file:///D:/test/wiki.htm?Page2
- works fine! but not from any other application :-(
best regards,
xaver
when i start wiki.htm with a double click on the icon from explorer, i
get an error message, that the file can't be found and that i should
check for correct namespelling. The correkt file (wiki.htm) starts
anyway. I just have to close the error window every time.
any connected problem to th former?
best regards,
xaver
I am arriving a bit late on this issue.
What browser and version are you using?
The current syntax is woas.htm?pagetitle

but its great to be able to link from one stickwiki into a page in another,
as im slowly making more and more stickwikis
for various projects...
-> WIN XP, Office 2007, firefox 2.0.0.9, stickwiki94b
but according Georges confirmation there is no way - ist there...?
regards, xaver
The only feasible approach would be to create an .URL file (containing
the link) or to create a shortcut to the browser and pass the woas.htm
URL with ?pagetitle in double quotes "woas.htm?pagetitle"
