I know it says: find the line woas["debug"] = true; and change it to
false. But I can't find the line or any documentation explaining
where it is. I can't find the faq. I've checked the sourceforge
forums and this google website. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks

OK for the total noobie, myself included: open the htm file with your
favorite editor. I used notepad. CTRL-F to search for the line you
want and voila. Change to false.

Hi there,

If you are getting from the latest source code, above version 0.4, the
woas["debug"] is located on separate file:

$YOUR_WOAS_ROOT/src/framework.js

to get the latest version from trunk, execute the following svn
command while connected to the internet:

svn checkout http://stickwiki.svn.sourceforge.net/svnroot/stickwiki/trunk/woas/

HTH,

Regards,

No, because the software is Beta. When the software will be Stable there
will be no debug mode enabled by default.

Hi,

I'm agree with you, in beta release, the debug mode should be enabled by default. But I think that a check box in the Option page is a good thing.
For us now, it will be more easy to disable debug mode. And for future users, when they want to report a problem, they should be able to report debug logs (be enabling debug mode) without editing the code !

Hi Cyril,

the released stable version will have the debug code totally stripped
off. This is because there are really a lot of log(...); lines which are
currently slowing each operation. It will be unnecessary in a later stage.

But yes, I understand that it's a nastiness and that people have used
WoaS even if it is marked as Beta.

The software is stable enough to get out the Beta stage, although there
are some new/old bugs. I will give it a hit in a few days and release
another candidate (v0.9.8B).

Thank you all for testing, submitting suggestions and for the bug reports!

Best regards,
