it has been a long time since some real development was made on WoaS. I
would like to thank the whole community for all contributions: patches,
suggestions, bug reports and feature requests.
I have fixed some bugs and implemented some features which might prove
useful to most users; these are documented on the CHANGELOG file on SVN
for now.
A short list of changes:
* implemented password scrambling
* added multiple tags and tags filtering
* added Duplicate Page feature
* fixed some syntax and editor bugs
* added aliases support (WoaS::Aliases and Special::Aliases command)
* implemented Special::Go To, Special::Delete
Before a public release of v0.9.7B is made, I would like to ask you help
at testing it.
Please download woas_UNSTABLE_r451.tar.gz from:
http://stickwiki.sourceforge.net/services/public/
This archive contains the multiple-files SVN version of WoaS v0.9.7B,
and *IT IS NOT* the version which will be released.
You should *not* rely on this version of WoaS for your data since *IT IS
NOT SUPPORTED* before official release on SourceForge.net.
Also, the released version comes as a single-file.
If this version proves to be stable enough and if it meets your tastes,
I will release it. I need to make this stabilization release because the
next set of changes is somewhat more radical but will allow the
following features:
(possibly planned changes for v0.9.8)
* multiple data layer backends (javascript strings, text/binary
separated files, java plugin, server-side)
* multiple WoaS modes, togglable from Options menu! (single-file,
separated-files, source-and-data etc.)
Just to be pedantic, the "vanilla" WoaS will not become something else.
You will always have it small and simple.
Please test this preview v0.9.7B with your existing data and report any
import/testing trouble at:
https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?group_id=155218&atid=794925
Thank you!
Best regards,

us your findings about functionalities.
