[Cycleway 42 (C42) is the designated route from Barking Riverside, under the Charlton Crescent tunnel, under the bridge over the Tilbury Line, then to Barking Station, and then (taking over the upgraded LCN+ route 55) to Ilford via Uphall, Lowbrook and Riverdene roads. And back of course. As Wakering Road is STILL not 2-way for cycling, legally you have to go another way when Ilford bound - such as Cambridge Rd, Linton Rd, Queens Rd.]
