Still a few places remaining for our cycling weekend away in Berkshire:
FRIDAY OCTOBER 9TH to SUNDAY OCTOBER 11TH Douai Abbey is in Upper
Woolhampton, Berkshire: check the location on
their website www.douaiabbey.org.uk. The countryside round there is
lovely. Douai Abbey is 13 miles from Reading, along the Kennet and Avon
canal. We will organise a gentle ride on Saturday of not more than 30
miles and a shorter ride on Sunday. Nearest station is Midgham, via
Reading.
The accommodation is in self-catering cottages which are
dormitory-style. Bedding provided . Accommodation cost £30 each in
total for two nights. We have 5 vacancies.
