Dear All,
The recent comment regarding "obliteration" by the White Female
Democratic Presidential hopeful of the most powerful military
infrastructure based democracy of the world and leader of the Free
World has added a new twist to the whole question of women in politics
and the issue of gender decisiveness.
For his part the Iranian President has of course used the same
expression for a much smaller country - Israel.

Israel, India and UK have of course known Golda Meir, Indira Gandhi
and Margaret Thatcher - maybe now it is time for Americans to wake up
to a new side of women jockeying for political mindscape.
Mrs Clinton has used the term obliterate with reference to a Middle
Eastern country which has centuries old cultural relations with India.
In an interview she said "we would be able to totally obliterate
them," she said. "That's a terrible thing to say but those people who
run Iran need to understand that because that perhaps will deter them
from doing something that would be reckless, foolish and tragic."
One does wonder who or what they will OBLITERATE.
And if they do not succeed 100%, then, who will pick up the pieces.
I am reminded of another term which was used by some sanguine
Americans diplomats in relation to Pakistan and as advice for policing
of its borders with Afghanistan. Something like hinting that "we will
bomb you back into Stone Age".
Coming 58 years after the horrors of Hiroshima and Nagasaki, to me it
is just a reminder that international politics still belongs to the
Stone Age, even when conducted by the so called first female
Presidential hopeful of the Free World and global civilizational
values.
