Dear all,

Please read the notes from Jorly chettan on "Kallanmaarude Samvaadham".

Vineeth,  Anjuchechi & Prabha, my apologies I didn't knew about this change
The choir needn't prepare for the same this year.

Regards
Sathish

Great .. thank you Binu ..Can you record the vocal and send it across to all.
Kevin, can you also do the same with the Malayalam song you plan to lead.
I suggest, we spend 30 mins after the Pesaha Service to sync up on above 2 songs, Kallanmaarude Samvaadham and Good Friday preparation.

Click the download for the mobile recording of the harmony we practiced today (vismaya-harmony-group-raw.mp3).
I'd humbly request everyone to listen (using earphone, else it may sound very noisy) this recording and singalong your part by maintaining the pitch, rhythm and tempo. Please practice this as often as you can. That'd help us for the next practice session.
Next Saturday (after Morning service), we'll spend sometime rehearsing and smoothening our voice for the harmony.

Have a blessed week.

With prayers
Sathish

Hi All,

Here is the song (Above All) I was referring to for singing as the English song, very appropriate for the Good Friday, especially the chorus. It is an easy song, we can sing together.

Hi Jorly, LOL you made me google up "Malayalam grammar" to understand your sentence, and learned a few things. Thanks.

Malayalam is a Subject-Object-Verb (SOV) language vs English is SVO, hence "Jorly ate orange" make sense but "Jorly kaazhichhu orange" doesn't. While, in Malayalam,  "Jorly orange kaazhichhu" makes sense, but "Jorly orange ate" doesn't. So the subject-object can get messed up easily when you are thinking in Malayalam but typing in English ;-)
