O Lord God, by Your great fast

of the fifty days and nights

and feast of resurrection,

have mercy and save our souls

 

The women came to the tomb

to anoint the Lord’s body

and they saw the Messiah

who had risen from the grave

 

And the Lord instructed them

to tell all His disciples

When the disciples hear this

they ran for the tomb of Christ

 

With gladness, the disciples

looked inside the empty tomb

and with wonder, they saw clothes

and took them up in their hands

 

The guards were struck like dead men

and Ciaphas was ashamed

He was filled with great wonder

and he stood in deep sorrow

 

The Jews who crucified Christ

were ashamed and they scattered;

The thief entered paradise;

Judas was cast into Hell

 

O you who have been baptized,

come and celebrate this feast

sing praises with a loud voice

with beautiful and sweet hymns

 

Let us cry aloud with faith,

bless`ed is the Lord or God

who has saved us from Satan

and redeemed us from our sins

 

Praise be to the Risen Son,

and to His Holy Father,

and to the Holy Spirit,

now, always, and forever
