Retreat song practice on wednesday

Dear All

  As few of us in church discussed yesterday, we'll have practice session this Wednesday (03/04) evening (from 6:15pm to 8:30pm) in preparation for the Retreat.

Tenny achen shared few hymns last week. Seems like googlegroups do not allow mailing large files. I can print copies of those hymns.

Please print a copy of the songs and kindly arrive on time.

  We had a productive practice session last night.

Recommend listening via earphone to catch those minor anomalies.

We'll have a quick final rehearsal on Saturday from 8:30 am to 9:45 am in church.

Though Amal and I couldn't attend, I heard very good comments from Reni about retreat and songs. The best thing is that Vimal said it was excellent and this is the first retreat he ever attended fully.

I've been wanting to write a reply to all the nice comments everyone had but due to other commitments it took longer. If anything went right it's all due to God's immense blessing and due to God molding our voices to sound good that day else I really do not think I have a great voice but I do feel God has blessed me with a voice to help support others who really sing better than me. I'm just using the talent HE has given me. For those who could not make it to sing for the retreat due to their other commitments, the choir would have been more complete with all your presence.

Thank you acha and Sathish for all the hard work you both put in taming us :). Thank you Tenny achen for the powerful speech you gave on Saturday. Hoping and praying that we can put it into action in our daily lives. Special thanks to Sathish who had the patience all these years to make sure each one of us were in sync and never went to the next song without making sure we all got it right. Sorry for disappointing you on many other occasions.

Special thanks to the sound engineers too who made sure to avoid any anomalies created by us singers :). You make us sound better.
